ANTIOCH UNIVERSITY LOS ANGELES: LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA

We are pleased to announce that New York Film Academy students are now able to apply their NYFA credits toward a Bachelor’s Degree at Antioch University Los Angeles.

THE BACHELOR OF ARTS IN LIBERAL STUDIES PROGRAM
Antioch University Los Angeles offers a pioneering degree completion option for students looking for the individualized attention of outstanding faculty mentors and small interactive classes that cultivate rigorous dialogue and critical thinking.

At Antioch, you can design a program as individual as you are. The BA program boasts six structured areas of concentration — similar to majors — in Business and Social Entrepreneurship, Child Studies, Creative Writing, Liberal Studies, Psychology and the new Urban Community and Environment concentration. You also can create your own individualized program to stretch your career in a new direction or fuel your enthusiasm for a specialized academic focus. Together with a faculty mentor, you can combine areas and topics of interest to create a unique concentration all your own.

THE STUDENT EXPERIENCE
At Antioch University Los Angeles, we appreciate the variety of learning styles and interests that students bring to their studies. These differences are resources that enrich our classrooms and our community. Antioch students learn in small interactive classrooms, through independent studies, as interns in community organizations, and by crafting field-based projects that tie classroom learning closely to practical action and lived experience. Antioch fosters awareness and advocacy of social justice issues and encourages students to contribute to the greater good of the community.

What makes Antioch University Los Angeles distinctive is also our individualized learning environment in which students are empowered to shape their educational path with the support of outstanding faculty mentors. At Antioch, the values of academic excellence, experiential learning, and social justice combine with a creative and individualized delivery model to offer an optimal learning experience.
