NEW YORK FILM ACADEMY GOES TO MOSCOW

Dan Mackler (Director of New York Film Academy at Universal Studios) and Paul Brown (professor at New York Film Academy at Universal Studios,
writer-producer for X-Files, Star Trek Voyager, Quantum Leap)'s visit to Moscow (Oct. 29th-Nov. 5th 2008), five lectures for adults were held in cooperation with prestigious educational institutions such as The Moscow State University and Cinemotion, The All-Russian State University of Cinematography named after S. A. Gerasimov, The Higher School of Journalism, The Higher Courses of Screenwriters and Directors.
The New York Film Academy Open House in Moscow with Paul Brown as a special guest, took place at the American Educational Center, also attracted much attention. Besides, rwo master-classes were arranged for private high school students and an Alumni Association of the New York Film Academy Russian Students was opened.

Paul Brown is taking part in the talk-show arranged at the State Television and Radio Institute.
The audience consisted of future Russian producers, TV moderators, directors.
Paul Brown's lecture at the Higher School of Economics, its division Higher School of Journalism, attracted not only the students but also the professionals, in particular, screenwriters, producers and filmmakers. Paul Brown is illustrating important storytelling concepts in the lecture through screening clips from various Horror and Science Fiction films.

Paul Brown is sharing his reach work experience on X-files, Quantum Leap TV series with the audience and giving useful tips to the Russian professionals how to create a successful TV series.
Paul Brown conducted an exercise called “Tell me Something True” with high school students at the private Moscow High School and heard great stories of students that moved all the teachers to tears.
