Personally, I like to sleep late and lounge around. In general, my productivity level drops to an all time low. However, Xbox and Bungie Studios the creators of extraordinarily popular video game Halo, are looking for a different response. They asked their fans opinion on how lead hero Master Chief would spend his day when not killing bad guys or going on recon missions. To heat up the competition we offered the winner an all expense paid trip to Los Angeles to attend the Academy on scholarship.
“Halo: RECUT” competitors hailed from all over Europe. When asked to use their imagination to create works inspired by the unseen adventures of Master Chief, the results were side-splitting.
Scott Robertson from the UK creator of, “Master Chiefs Day Off” was recently announced as the scholarship winner. His comical video cast Halo hero as an average Joe on a break from his office job, struggling with the trivialities of everyday life. I especially love where Master Chief throws the pillow in the air and uses it for target practice.
We would like to personally congratulate Scott and welcome him to the New York Film Academy. We can’t wait to see what he comes up with next!
