Screenwriting Student Tony Kelly ‘The Sexaholic’

Munster Express - Tony Kelly (23) from Collins Avenue in Waterford city has been attending the New York Film Academy and majoring in screenwriting since January of this year. He is a former employee of Sheridan’s Garage on the Cork Road where he worked as a car salesman.

In the six short months he has been in New York Tony has been involved in no less than seven short films. As a screenwriter on ‘The Sexaholic’ a silent MOS piece about a man who preys on victims of nymphomania. He has acted in 5 other short comedy films, one of which he wrote, directed and edited. This film called ‘I am Jeff Shanagarry’ is about an Irish singer who moves to America in order to expand his fanbase and do an autograph signing with the winner of American Idol 2009 but he doesn’t get what he bargained for.
