NYFA Acting School Graduate Tatiana Del Toro Steals American Idol Finale
May 21st, 2009 Posted in Acting School, Documentary Filmmaking, Español, Events, Film & Acting Camp, Student & Alumni ActivityOf the 35 million people who watched the grand finale of American Idol last night, I don’t think anyone missed Tatiana Del Toro’s “performance” as she rushed the main stage and stole Ryan Seacrest’s mic to sing acapella…all while avoiding getting carried away by security.
Anyone looking into breaking into the motion picture and entertainment industry can learn a lot from Tatiana’s American Idol journey. She is a perfect example of what it takes to be successful. Whether her performance was staged or a bold attempt to yet again throw herself into the spotlight, you can’t deny the girl has talent, charisma and presence, not to mention being fearlessly persistent. All the essential traits of a successful actor.
Many of our acting school graduates become professional actors, singers, spokes people, television hosts, journalists, and acting instructors, while others may go on to take over the most popular TV show in the world - American Idol. Whatever Tatiana’s future holds, there is no doubt she has what it takes and is making the right moves to have a successful career in entertainment.
We at the New York Film Academy (NYFA) are proud of her recent success and wish her the very best.

Tatiana is one such girl with ample of talent filled in her. I wasn’t a short journey at all, she had to pass through many obstacles and face many drawbacks in her quest to reach there. Keep up the good work Tatiana.
