May 7th, 2009 Posted in News, Screenwriting SchoolFor those that have the screenplay ideas and ambition to excel as a screenwriter but lack the experience and time, the New York Film Academy (NYFA) has good news for you. Starting September 14, 2009 the world famous hands-on film school will debut their first online program- a comprehensive screenwriting course taught by Emmy Award Winning screenwriter, Claude Kervan.
During the eight month online course, students from all over the world receive expert instruction and feedback that help shape their screenplay ideas into a 90-120 page original, marketable screenplay… All from their own personal computer and time schedule.
The New York Film Academy stays true to what has made them one of the most in demand film schools in the world, their hands-on teaching approach. What is being named as the “most comprehensive online screenwriting course in the world”, the learning is fully online, interactive and participative. Students complete one course at a time and progress to the next course in the same way as students who meet at their on-campus classrooms and work in teams with their classmates for special projects.
Students are encouraged to take the online screenwriting course to fulfill degree requirements for other universities and colleges, or for general professional/career development.

Is the Online Screenwriting Course a limited time thing, or is is continuous. Due to the tuition requirements I won’t have it until the end of the year, but will the classes still be around.
