HOW TO EARN YOUR BACHELOR'S DEGREE

NOVA SOUTHEASTERN UNIVERSITY

Applications for SEPTEMBER 2009 are currently being accepted.

New York Film Academy students may use their intensive year of study in the One-Year Filmmaking program to help them earn a Bachelor's Degree from Nova Southeastern University. Students who pursue a BA at Nova Southeastern University will receive 40 college credits for the successful completion of the New York Film Academy's One-Year Filmmaking Program. These 40 credits represent one third of the credits needed to complete the Bachelor's Degree.

YOU MAY PURSUE THE BACHELOR'S DEGREE AT NSU IN THE FOLLOWING WAYS:
1) Complete the One-Year Filmmaking Program at the New York Film Academy first, then enroll at Nova Southeastern University and take required NSU courses to complete the degree program.

2) Begin or complete other undergraduate course work at Nova Southeastern University first, then attend the Academy's One-Year Filmmaking Program.

3) Transfer from another undergraduate program to Nova Southeastern University, attend the Academy's One-Year Filmmaking Program, and complete undergraduate course-work at Nova Southeastern University.


PLEASE NOTE THE FOLLOWING CONDITIONS APPLY:
The bachelor's degree at NSU consists of 120 college credits.

NSU courses may be taken at its main campus in Fort Lauderdale, Florida, at any Educational Services Center, or through Online/Distance Education.

Students must complete at least 30 credits and 50% of the credits towards their major in Nova Southeastern University courses in order to receive the BA from Nova Southeastern University.

ADMISSION REQUIRMENTS:
• High School Diploma
• Successful completion of the Academy's One-Year Filmmaking Program
• Acceptance into Nova South Eastern University's undergraduate division: Farquhar College of Arts and Sciences. Acceptance is on a rolling basis and students may apply online at: http://undergrad.nova.edu/newstudents/
